The THUG THEOLOGY of Honorable Reverend Pat Robertson
If a Muslim imam had called for a specific killing either as a suggestion or a Fatua, it would be clearly seen as the unconscionable utterance of a fanatical lunatic, which it is. The Honorable Rev. Pat Robertson, the bigoted, super wealthy, snake-oil salesman and Bible-thumping war-pimp, and other such Thug Theocrats, are the reason why people who hold authentic spiritual values have left organized Christianity in droves since the 1980s ascendency of the American Moral Majority. Like it or not, the public face of Christianity is now represented by cretins and sociopaths. Just as there is for Muslims and Jews, truly ethical Christians are faced with a profound challenge to take back the public face of their religion. -- Keni Washington
